| "Zielia is a character from a text-based RPG; so, she's never had a visual representation. I had my doubts that anyone could capture my vision of Zielia's look and personality, but I figured I would fill out the detailed questionnaire and see what Darcy could come up with. Her first sketch blew me away! She captured Zielia's sultry personality perfectly, with just the right, subtle touch of mischief. Her fiery hair was just incredible. I knew I had to have her create an illustration of Zielia's husband, Vallimar as well. He proved a bit tougher, but Darcy welcomed feedback and continued to make adjustments until he was just right. In the end I had two custom illustrations I highly treasure." |
